A busy period of football activity is about to unfold, so I wanted to do a quick update on some timelines for various reports and projects about to finish/publish...
-- I’m working on the 2024 NFL Combine preview scouting brief-reports/rankings going into the event. I’ll then watch/observe the event week and have daily reports on the various ‘things’ happening, rumors from the ground, and workouts, etc. Then we’ll re-grade our preview scouting on the Combine prospects post-event to wrap up the event.
-- Our 2024 Combine preview scouting/grades will begin to post, position-by-position, starting 2/18 SUN...and will run daily right up to the Combine kickoff.
-- Our full, individual prospect scouting reports will continue to post all week/s, all offseason, per usual.
We’ll also update some already filed scouting reports and update our computer model grades when we get the Combine data officially -- to more accurately run our scouting analytics on the players.
-- Our 2024 Dynasty top 600 valuations/rankings will debut somewhere around 2/27-29, as an estimate. I’ve been working on a team-by-team analysis of the players and their futures plus mixing in the top (consensus) rookies at each position...obviously this is all pre-free agency and draft, so it’s a starter valuation...and we update it every week right up to kickoff of the 2024 season.
-- The 2024 Best Ball top 600 will debut right around the time the Dynasty top 600 does...hopefully the same day...and we will update those rankings all offseason as well.
-- We’re working on our weekly video show/podcast formats and concepts, as you’ve seen released lately. We have some new concept shows in the works, stay tuned for those and our regular Q&A sessions ahead.
Looking ahead to March 2024 and beyond:
-- Free Agency preview and prediction reports will begin in March leading up to the opening of the free agency period.
And with free agency, we’ll shift/change/update all our Dynasty and Best Ball top 600 rankings/valuations as the players land and impact their new situations.
-- All through March and April, once we have the Combine data and starting to get the Pro Day data, we’ll statically grade all the NFL Draft prospects we can (usually over 700+ of them) and grade/rank them and keep updating into the Draft, and beyond it as info keeps coming in all offseason.
-- Our 2024 Dynasty Rookie Draft (DRD) rankings will debut the next day/ASAP after the NFL Draft concludes and as undrafted free agents sign.
We’ll start the post-Draft DRD rankings process with a top 50 quickly and then build on that each day after the draft for the week...building towards our top 300 Dynasty Rookie Draft rankings that update weekly all offseason/preseason.
-- Once the NFL Draft is in the books, it’s on to working on the 2024 Fantasy Football Draft Guide package of reports and rankings...which will debut early June and update weekly into the preseason where we update more frequently.
-- Once the NFL Draft is in the books, we can also start our 2024 seasonal betting concepts...betting on props and team win totals over/under, etc. The summer is the key time to take advantage of the public/Vegas.
No real off days studying football. We’re neck deep in it all offseason. The 2024 Fantasy season kicks off in like 7 months!
