2022 Xavier Cromartie Faux/Computer Simulated Season 1.0 (Super Bowl)

INTRO:

(Same intro everyday) Four analysts are running their own early models of the 2022 NFL season, as we know it today – looking at the current teams/rosters/starters/depth mixed with the schedule layout.

We will release the simulation results and short commentaries three weeks at a time (Weeks 1-3, 4-6, etc.) by each analyst daily -- and then each analyst will simulate their playoffs all the way up to crowning their early Super Bowl champ. This is pre-work looking for/searching and sharing possible great Over/Under win total bets ahead of the crowd.

The analysts have not seen each other’s simulations…they’ll be seeing them for the first time as the report’s release daily for the next 12 days.

Your 2022 Faux 1.0 Analyst Lineup:

Ross Jacobs, FFM analyst (every 8am ET for the entire series)

Xavier Cromartie, long-time contributor/NFL Draft guru (every noonET)

Chris Bilello, Bet the Close Podcast (every 4pmET)

RC Fischer, FFM analyst (every 8pmET)

Hope you enjoy this two-week daily series…it’s all the analyst’s favorite project – one that totally consumes them and drives them

SUPER FAUX LVII

1. Cincinnati Bengals v 1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Live from Glendale, Arizona, the greatest of all 50 states…

I've invited the entire Arizona Cardinals cheerleading squad to watch the game with me.

Will Old Man Brady pass the torch to Joey B?

In the 1st Quarter, the scoring begins with a Tom Brady TD to Chris Godwin. The Bucs run a fake extra point and throw to a wide-open Cameron Brate to make the score 8-0.

The Bengals counter in the 2nd Quarter with a drive down the field that ends with a Joe Burrow TD pass to Tee Higgins to make it 8-7 Bucs.

After getting the ball back, Joe Mixon runs it in to put the Bengals up 14-8 at halftime.

In the 3rd Quarter, Joe Burrow finally connects with Ja'Marr Chase. Up by 12, the Bengals do the math and go for 2 to try to make it a 14-point lead. They succeed when Hayden Hurst throws to Joe Burrow on a trick play to go up 22-8. Ryan Succop hits a field goal to cut it to 22-11.

In the 4th Quarter, the Bucs again can't find the end zone and settle for a field goal to make it 22-14. The Bucs defense keeps them in it, but yet again the offense can't finish, and they settle for a third field goal to make it 22-17.

They get one final chance with under a minute to go. Tom Brady goes into Brady Mode and ultimately connects with Mike Evans to take a 23-22 lead! The Bucs decide to go for 2 to potentially put them up by 3 instead of 1 (remembering how the Chiefs needed only 13 seconds to get a field goal against the Bills). On the 2-point conversion try, Brady throws a fade to Mike Evans. The ball is intercepted by Chidobe Awuzie. Awuzie returns the ball to midfield, where he is caught by Leonard Fournette... but Awuzie laterals the ball to rookie Tycen Anderson! Anderson takes it the rest of the way! It's 2 points for the Bengals! It's over! The Bengals win the Super Faux on a 2-point return!!

Bengals 24, Bucs 23
