When you lose your best OL and it’s a left tackle, I can’t support your QB/pass game for the upcoming season.

This will likely change Eagles FF projections in 2027 and beyond...downward.
If he gets hurt again in-season...then down (to some degree) go the Philly projections/outputs with it.
-- I neglected to watch much of the O-Line at the HOF game. I saw this cutup (below/attached) after and went and rewatched his work in the game. A very nice debut for Chase Bisontis. Yes, it was the HOF game, but you want to see your promising O-Linemen hossing around defenders in an HOF game.
I think we had Chase Bisontis as a 1st-round projections/valuation, pre-draft, like top 20 overall I think...and I bet on DraftKings for him the 1st-round/top 25--and just missed/lost as he went #2 in the 2nd-round.

Notes and unofficial stats from the Jaguars' Teal & White mock game (Teal won 19-12):
QB Trevor Lawrence was 15 of 29 passes for 212 yards and 3 TDs.
Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., and LeQuint Allen had TD catches.
Washington had six catches for 118 yards and TD.
-- Rico Dowdle vs Jaylen Warren: from an observer...
This really does seem like a 50/50 split committee and who gets 1st reps matters very little to me - seems like that changes somewhat daily with Dowdle getting the 1st reps with 1st team yesterday
Warren was listed as the RB1 and Dowdle as RB2 on the depth chart the other day, which tells me (I’m assuming) that Mike McCarthy isn't going to shove Dowdle down everyone’s throats and he's treating Warren with respect which falls in line with a truer 50/50 split.
Which makes me think Dowdle is a bit of a value right now because he's being listed as an RB2, but going to be in a 50/50 split at minimum but possibly be the 60/40 lead in the end because Mike McCarthy loves him.
-- HEADLINE: Colts coach Shane Steichen said there remains no timetable for Alec Pierce’s (left ankle surgery) return.
I don’t like the way words are being given on this by the organization. No positivity on a return but rather cautious tones and now 9-10 days into camp and Pierce isn’t even out there (but Malik Nabers is running around NYG camp) and not timeline for return really besides ‘hope’. And when Pierce returns, how ‘back’ is he. Foot surgery and WRs don’t play nice right away upon return.
Hopefully it’s baseless worry, but it’s a definite watch.
Pierce will be the lead punch WR when he’s healthy...but he may not be fully healthy until October? He may play Week 1, but when he is fully himself...might be weeks after.

I am watching this closely...I’m this close to just walking away from everything NYG 2026. We’ll see in joint practices and preseason games if this will be the case...we’ll get hints of it in the next 2-3 weeks.
Everything in these reports is what Matt Nagy has done to offenses his entire career of late...awful offensive plans with predictable routes in Chicago, and ruined Mitch Trubisky (never developed him, because he can’t develop anything) and then back with the Chiefs underperformed with him as the Andy Reid’s assistant/lackey. Nagy is not responsible for what is happening in KC of late, but he sure doesn’t help matters.
Nagy is arguably the worst O-C in the NFL.
And Brian Callahan is potentially the worst QB coach in the NFL.
This is what you paid a ton of money to John Harbaugh for? To assemble a staff that is total garbage--these are Harbaugh’s choices. This is a Harbaugh issue first and foremost.
Who was Harbaugh’s last O-C hire? Ohh, Todd Monken. Did you see that offense last year? If Derrick Henry wasn’t proclaimed ‘toast’/’too old’ in the NFL so that Baltimore could steal/stumble into him...Harbaugh would’ve been fired probably a year or two ago.
NYG thinks they upgraded with Harbaugh...all they’ve done is spent a mint to downgrade the coaching staff severely. Quite a feat. Man, the Giants are poorly run from the top down.

You knew this would get done.

Well, this was an easy prediction come true...for me and 9 billion other football analysts.
Reasons why I think this happened, to consider...my opinion/deductions:
1) Treylon Burks can’t stay healthy. He’s the original Ricky Pearsall.
2) Terry McLaurin is wildly overrated (to me), and Washington may have seen ‘the fade’ of an overrated talent (for years) last season and again in camp. I watched McLaurin get abused by Quinton Mitchell and others many times the past year or two. He’s just an average WR in today’s NFL...has been for a few years, yet he has a ‘royalty’ image in the public.
Courtland Sutton East.
The Commanders have WR issues because they have coaching and GM issues. The 2024 draft/season was an aberration.
The Commanders best receiver...Rachaad White...and they probably won’t use him as such.
3) Dan Quinn is on thin ice...they need all the help they can get for RIGHT NOW!.
4) Deebo was so good for them last year, why did he not return there? I think Deebo ‘passed’ more than Washington ‘passing’.
5) R.I.P. Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane. Why the 49ers don’t trade for Luke is totally beyond me.
6) A desperate team made a desperate move.

BUT we also will send those urgent player info things we have in-season, sometimes we have inside info minutes or hours ahead of the public...and you will get notified on your phone and/or computer, however you’d like to be notified.

It’s not a chatroom or any other thing besides one-way info sent to you on reports posted and a few major breaking news items I think are needed by all throughout the season.
It’s our best way to keep you informed fast/ahead of the crowd...and it’s free.
I’m not going to mention it a million times to pester everyone. I get nothing from you signing up. It’s just the best way for me to get you notified of things especially when the bullets start flying. You control how, when, etc., you want to be notified. I can’t do any better than Discord for this service without building something and charging for it.
If that doesn’t matter to you, cool. It’s a free service if anyone is interested.
If you are interested but decide not to bother because you don’t know Discord or don’t wanna sign up for another App...that’s your choice. I picked Discord because it is a world leader App, not some fly-by-night thing. And I picked it because it gives the mobile AND computer notification options. These are the new tools to utilize in this game.
2) A subscription item that involves Discord that SOME may be interested in, that the name can be deceiving.

All we heard pre-draft on TreVeyon was...Oh, what a great blocker!! And it turns out; he is not even a good blocker...or even a bad blocker...he’s a terrible blocker.
It is stunning to me that an industry set to scout things in the industry is so wrong so often/all the time.
