We're looking at who/what teams did the technically best job of picking the talent/value.
This way of statistically looking at the 'quality' of the draft is based upon...
-- Drafting the talent/valuation of the players above or below their overall ranking. According to our valuations of the players talent + NFL value (position and scarcity at the position in the particular draft).
-- Judging who did a great job, no matter how many picks they had, of drafting the proper value assets.
-- It’s based on 100% being ‘good’ and solid job overall. You can (and want to) score over 100. It’s somewhat school grade-ish...70+ is acceptable. Below that things aren’t so good down to 0%, and you can go lower than 0.
This is a different way to judge a team’s draft...it more focuses on the quality of the picks at each round/spot versus the quantity grade of just how many assets you got, this judges how smart the assets taken were given the connect of this particular draft.
