(same intro every day) Each year, I go division by division and nominate who I believe is each team’s candidate for the major NFL awards and then we discuss/declare who the division’s major award winner is for the season…and that player goes onto the divisional Final Four with a chance to go to the Super Bowl/Finals for a chance to be declared my seasonal award winner.

DAL: WR George Pickens, DAL
NYG: QB Jaxson Dart, NYG
PHI: OL Lane Johnson, PHI
WSH: OL Laremy Tunsil, WSH
The Eagles offenses ebbed and flowed more with Lane Johnson than anything else...the Eagles were (8-2) in games Johnson played, and (3-4) when he didn’t. Jalen Hurts missing/out could’ve squashed Philly too, so from that perspective he deserves the nod as well. I just felt like I talked more about and worried more about Lane Johnson’s availability this year more than ever.
George Pickens was so good at times...he made the whole offense better just by existing. But other times...
Laremy Tunsil really had a solid season for Washington.
I’m giving it to Jaxson Dart because he changed everything when he became the starter. Had Dart started Week 1 and played the season healthy with a healthy Skattebo and Nabers, I think NYG could’ve won the division. And that’s on Dart more than anything.

It’s a 2-person race...Burns vs. Mitchell.
Brian Burns was terrific this season, but a shutdown CB is way more important in the ‘big picture’...so Quinyon Mitchell wins this easily for me. Mitchell is one of the top shutdown CBs in the NFL.

Wow. What a collection. A bad set of options, so I will do a swerve...I will give it to Dan Quinn.
Wait. Why?
Because I have never seen such an absolutely dreadful head coaching job REVERSAL in a long time...when you consider this team was on the brink of the Super Bowl with a special rookie QB just a year ago, and now they are likely the worst team in the NFC East. That takes a special skill, so for being so absolutely awful...congrats Dan Quinn, turn that visor around and get up here and accept your award.
