(same intro each day) I’m doing a daily series to determine what team I feel has the best pass game receivers in the NFL.

I was spurred to the idea when I saw a PFF similar ranking where they had the Eagles as the number one past game/receiver group. I knew that couldn’t be right, in my mind, so then I wondered who we might show as the best pass game/receiver team is in the NFL…maybe it is the Eagles? Thus, we’re here for a quick/fun tournament style series to determine just what team has that best receiver group in 2025.

We’re gonna start out going division by division putting matchups together based on the 2024 regular season standings. And we’re gonna go from division to the conference and onto the Super Bowl/our real winner.

How I’m going to determine a winner in a head-to-head matchup is in a best-of-seven style format, judging six different player matchups.

1) The first matchup in every series is the number one wide receiver head-to-head, BUT that battle is worth two points or two wins in the best of seven series. The number one WOR is so critical and so important that it’s worth double any other match up.

2) The #2-3-4 matchups will be the team’s wide receivers after the number 1WR. So, who I think is the second best wide receiver versus the other team second best, then a battle of the third best, and then a battle of the fourth best wide receiver to show the depth of a team’s receiver group.

3) After we pit all the wide receivers against each other -- then it’s a look at the #1 Tight Ends against each other.

4) Then, lastly, if needed, it’s a matchup of who I think is each team‘s best receiving running back.

So, a total of six matchups but the first one counting double or seven possible points or wins, and the best of seven winning team moves on to the next round/match up.

Not going to give much commentary here, just showing the results and moving the teams on. These are my personal choices, so if you don’t like it... I don’t need to say the rest.

Giants at Eagles

Malik Nabers d. A.J. Brown (NYG 2-0)

DeVonta Smith d. Darius Slayton (NYG 2-1)

Wan’Dale Robinson d. Jahan Dotson (NYG 3-1)

Jalin Hyatt d. Terrace Marshall (NYG wins 4-1...defeating PFFs top receiver group similar report from a week+ ago)

Dallas Goedert d. Theo Johnson (NYG 4-2)...closer decision than expected.

Saquon Barkley d. Tyrone Tracy (NYG 4-3)

Well, PFF’s top receiver group in their rankings...are ‘out’ in the 1st-round. NYG moves on.

Cowboys at Commanders

CeeDee Lamb d. Terry McLaurin (DAL 2-0)

George Pickens d. Deebo Samuel (DAL 3-0)

Luke McCaffrey d. Jon Mingo (DAL 3-1)

KaVontae Turpin d. Noah Brown (DAL wins 4-1)...this was very close, Noah Brown is so underrated...but Turpin is one of the most underrated weapon WRs in the NFL.

Zach Ertz d. Jake Ferguson (DAL 4-2)

Austin Ekeler d. Jaydon Blue (DAL 4-3)

Dallas squeaks by to go on to face the Giants in the finals.

Giants v. Cowboys

Malik Nabers d. CeeDee Lamb (NYG 2-0)

George Pickens d. Darius Slayton (NYG 2-1)

KaVontae Turpin d. Wan’Dale Robinson (2-2 tie)...changed the order for DAL to matchup similar WRs #3 and #4.

Jalin Hyatt d Jon Mingo (NYG 3-2)

Jake Ferguson d. Theo Johnson (3-3 tie)

Tyrone Tracy d. Jaydon Blue (NYG wins 4-3)

Wow, the Giants shock the world (the world is paying attention, I’m sure of it). They move on to the NFC Final Four.
