2022 Dynasty Rookie Five-Round Mock Draft Series Two (pick slot #7)

It’s been 2+ months since our first 12-part DRD mock draft series. It’s time for the follow up now that we’re into training camps starting…for those who rookie draft in August.

We’ll publish a mock draft daily, starting from the #12 spot (as reflects most FFMers from a nice 2021) and we’ll take it in order down to #1 slot mock.

Parameters: Half-PPR, 4pts per pass TD, one flex spot/non-Superflex. AND…I cannot make any trades back (like I want in the first round).

1.1 Breece Hall

1.2 Ken Walker III

1.3 Drake London

1.4 Garrett Wilson

1.5 Treylon Burks

1.6 Jameson Williams

1.7 Christian Watson = Ignoring RB here and taking my favorite WR of the group that’s available in this range.

My top desire WR this class, and it’s not even close, is Jameson Williams…but Watson is probably, narrowly, my heart’s next desire over Drake London, among the WR hierarchy. If you like London and/or Burks more…it’s not a crime. I like Watson as a talent, especially for FF production, and I like his situation as well.

1.8 Chris Olave

1.9 Skyy Moore

1.10 James Cook

1.11 Jahan Dotson

1.12 George Pickens

2.1 Kenny Pickett

2.2 Dameon Pierce

2.3 David Bell

2.4 Rachaad White

2.5 Jalen Tolbert

2.6 Isaiah Spiller

2.7 Tyler Allgeier = The reason I even came to the DRD!

2.8 Wan'Dale Robinson

2.9 John Metchie III

2.10 Alec Pierce

2.11 Zamir White

2.12 Trey McBride

3.1 Matt Corral

3.2 Malik Willis

3.3 Tyrion Davis-Price

3.4 Brian Robinson Jr.

3.5 Desmond Ridder

3.6 Khalil Shakir

3.7 Jelani Woods = Finally, I got the 1-2 punch of Allgeier-Woods at ‘good’ pricing. Which means I won’t get Philips-Pacheco the next two, most likely.

3.8 Tyquan Thornton

3.9 Velus Jones Jr. (he’s falling in DRDs lately)

3.10 Greg Dulcich

3.11 Romeo Doubs (he’s rising in DRDs of late…he’s the Jalen Tolbert you’re looking for)

3.12 Hassan Haskins

4.1 Sam Howell

4.2 Keaontay Ingram

4.3 Danny Gray

4.4 Pierre Strong Jr.

4.5 Justyn Ross

4.6 Calvin Austin III

4.7 Kyle Philips = You could go Pacheco or Philips here. RB desperate for lotto ticket guys…Pacheco here is fine. I think Philips will be a PPR monster quickly…so, I am totally fine with grabbing him here, or earlier as needed.

4.8 Jeremy Ruckert

4.9 Tyler Badie (starting to draw a little interest with JKD and Gus on PUP)

4.10 Kyren Williams

4.11 Jerome Ford

4.12 Cade Otton

5.1 Bailey Zappe

5.2 Isiah Pacheco (man, the days of getting Pacheco any time in the 5th are ending)

5.3 Ty Chandler

5.4 Daniel Bellinger

5.5 Jake Ferguson

5.6 Isaiah Likely

5.7 Kevin Harris = One of my favorite ‘sleeper’ RBs from this past NFL Draft. Better for non-PPR than PPR. Finally, he was available in the 5th. That backfield is SO crowded though. But in two years it might not be. Am I really waiting patiently for two years? Probably not.

5.8 Carson Strong

5.9 Snoop Conner

5.10 Abram Smith

5.11 Trestan Ebner

5.12 Erik Ezukanma
