Sunday Morning Sit-Start Show 10:30amET-NoonET. Show access will post around 10amET+.
Week 14 final projections update will post around 12:30pmET
-- NFL Weather issues...
TEN at CLE = 33-34 degrees, 10mph wins (gusts 15-20mph), ’feels like’ 25+/- degrees. 50/50 light flurries during the game. But Cleveland's 'lake effect’ can swerve hour-to-hour.
TEN played its first colder weather game last week, at home, ‘feels like’ 30 degrees -- and scored 3 pts.
CIN-BUF = 30 degrees at kickoff, ‘feels like’ 23 degrees, 8-10mph winds, 50-75%+ chance of light snow flurries during the game...more likely snow at kickoff and then tails off. https://x.com/sleeperbengals/status/1997432914980605988?s=43
CHI-GB = COLD...15 degrees at kickoff, ‘feels like’ 5 degrees...dropping a few more degrees during the game. Gets a few degrees colder as the game goes on. Slight advantage Green Bay at home, experienced offense in this weather.
HOU-KC = 30 degrees at kick, ‘feels like’ 22+/- degrees, 10+ mph winds with gust potential up to 20 mph. Houston has yet to play or practice in anything like this until this week. https://x.com/fieldyates/status/1997358981400924198?s=43
IND-JAX = This game has changed to could be rain, to 100% chance of rain right through the game. This is now a pass game performance suppressor.
NO-TB = Less crazy rain forecast for this Florida game...50%+ chance of rain in middle of the game with some chance early/late.
-- Early Injury news...
Quiet morning for injury issues.
Justin Herbert...still listed ‘questionable’ but is expected to play...but it’s not a lock yet.
Omarion Hampton...does look like he’s more of a ‘lock’ to be back/playing.
Dalton Kincaid...Game-Time-Decision...doesn’t sound like he’s really ready ever if they let him play. He says he’s planning on ‘trying to play’
Tristan Wirfs and Benjamin Morrison...both OUT for GB. Not good for the Bucs.
Christian Darrisaw...Truly ‘questionable’. He’s been playing through injury and been ‘bad’ this year.
Kamari Lassiter...Planning to play despite a foot injury. This would be HUGE for the Texans upset hopes and will put more pressure on the KC pass game to be suppressed for FF.
Parker Washington...OUT for Week 14.
-- Quick game notes on two games, because no full report on them this week (not a ton of notes as it is from these games)...
LV at LAC = Went as you’d expect. Even with Justin Herbert getting hurt, he missed a few snaps, then returned and was fine. The Chargers won with ease because the Raiders suck.
Kimani Vidal (25-126-1, 1-11-0/1) went off on LV...behind a terrible O-Line, and even Jaret Patterson (11-54-1) crushed = that’s the Raiders 2025 for ya! They’re the worst. Vidal only matters if Omarion Hampton is out but looks like he is back for Week 14.
Low volume LAC passing/Herbert AGAIN...because of that O-Line, what we warned of for a month now. And LAC just ran it down LV’s throats.
Ashton Jeanty bottled up, no new news there.
LV gets DEN-PHI-HOU the next 3 weeks...they’re toast for FF, except maybe Brock Bowers...but maybe he doesn’t escape it either.
What’s wrong with Oronde Gadsden (1-27-0/2). Not sure, but he is falling like all the LAC receiver weapons with the pass game volume drop. Gadsden for redraft is not a must hold. For Dynasty...HOLD...arguably the best FF TE from this class going forward.
SF at CLE = The 49ers are arguably the single best coached team in the NFL. And the Browns have Shedeur Sanders and Jerry Jeudy. So, it was no surprise that in a game played in some mildly crappy weather...the 49ers put the hammer down with a 19-0 run from the end of the 2nd-half to the final whistle.
Shedeur (16-25 for 149 yards, 1 TD/0 INT) was playing very conservative, game managing football...which is kinda impressive for him...at least he started out that way, but as the game got away Shedeur was unable to make anything happen (also consider bad O-Line play) to even put a threat out to the 49ers.
Brock Purdy (16-29 for 168 yards, 1 TD/0 INT, 2-4-1) played even better/smarter/controlled football than Shedeur and just put a stranglehold on this game in not-great weather conditions.
Low volume passing games here with the weather, I think...so, I don’t hold either QB or the weapons to any new negative light for this game.
Ricky Pearsall had another disaster. No 2025 hope seen here...maybe no hope for consistency ever. Purdy is voting ‘against’ Pearsall with his arm/targets.
The 49ers-DST has held the last two opponents to 8 and 9 total points. They get the Titans Week 15.

-- DAILY ITEM: For some fun, I’m going to do another QB Hierarchy...like we did this summer, updated for what I’ve seen in the 2025 season. One QB added a day in the order that I would place that QB, and I keep doing it each day in alphabetical team order. This is an NFL performance/talent list, not for FF, based on their talent assessment today...my personal feelings on it. We’ll add one team a day’s QB/s to the list in the order where I would put them.
Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Matt Stafford
Lamar Jackson, Jared Goff, Dak Prescott
Daniel Jones, Jordan Love, Bo Nix, Michael Penix
Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith
J.J. McCarthy (the 3 QBs listed after him...all bombed in their starting season), Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, Trevor Lawrence, Davis Mills, C.J. Stroud (I don’t recognize this 2025 QB), Tua Tagovailoa, Kyler Murray
Anthony Richardson, Kirk Cousins

-- Today’s Agenda...
Game Report day...all the remaining game reports planned to post.
Week 14 projections update planned approx. 8-10pmET range.
Anything else that pops up, and any new betting items I might see. All my last two days of bets are updated on the betting tracker/portfolio.
-- PROSTATE CANCER BIG UPDATE:
My follow up/2nd blood test results from 12/4 are in…
1) My PSA was 18-21 when all this started this summer
2) Over 5 is not good/likely prostate cancer (and it was correct, I had cancer)
3) My first blood test follow up after the first hormone therapy started in October 2025 was = PSA down to 3 (meaning the prostate cancer was dying/being starved to death)
4) They want me to be under 1.0 PSA to do the best radiation plan/to be the most effective.
So, a second hormone therapy was added in mid-November to help deliver a knockout punch.
5) My PSA today is = 0.17
Yes, that is correct...closer to zero than 0.5.
The second hormone therapy rocked it!
The prostate cancer is virtually dead.
I am headed to radiation with flying colors!!!
—————-
Other check items:
-My testosterone score was still low/went lower (good…because it’s what the prostate cancer was living on). The hormones are designed to suppress my testosterone, which is what prostate cancer feeds on.
-Liver functions were perfect (and this is a worry with these hormones).
-All other vitals were all good/great.
Thank you to everybody for your prayers during all of this. Everything from appointment scheduling to insurance to medications to being able to get into MD Anderson to the cancer not being spread to my bones on those scans...to now these great blood test results from my hormone therapies — I’m either the luckiest person in the world or the power of the collective prayer is amazing beyond words.
Keep the prayers going because the continued hormone therapies are messing with my body, not too-too bad at this point, but they do have an effect and I’m starting to slowly feel it — and then definitely prayers for the upcoming radiation in late January through March should deliver the knockout punch to the lymph nodes and everything else.
I am very well on my way to being cancer free at the end of about a projected two years of therapies and this upcoming radiation. Maybe I’m gonna come in well under that two years which would be a miracle in itself.
In September, I was bracing myself for a potential short time frame to go...and was starting to map out 3-7 years-to-live plans. Less than three months later...I’m looking at a total defeat in 2 +/- years.
That is INSANE!
Seriously, thank you to everybody reading this for your well-wishes and prayers. I still have some folk’s emails to get to from months ago (at my first announcement), but I am close to having responded to every single one. It’s important to me that I respond to each one...just trying to get every team to the FF-playoffs is taking up some time...as is this whole cancer battle thing!
We.
ARE.
Winning.
How do I feel? I feel like this video...if Mike Tyson were the embodiment of Prostate Cancer, and of course I’m bring the 3:16 to the party: https://youtube.com/shorts/Lvx5xuBrJ8A?si=h3cNBxIXQ4Nc6DPV
-- There may not/will probably not be a game reports this week on:
DEN-WSH (hoping to write tomorrow)
SF-CLE
LV-LAC
I’ve watched all these games and taken notes and reflected the research in each day’s projection updates. If I can’t write them all up on a solo report, I will have some of my important notes in the ‘FFM streaming news’ on them.
I’m spending more time during these later season weeks getting injury info, any inside info from sources, and studying/isolating on the few hot topic players/things more than hitting a volume of notes.
RANDOM NEWS and NOTES...
-- NFL Weather...we got some things starting to be a concern to some degree...
TEN at CLE = 33-34 degrees, 11-14mph wins (gusts 15-20mph), ’feels like’ 25+/- degrees. 50/50 light flurries during the game. But Cleveland's 'lake effect’ can swerve hour-to-hour.
TEN played its first colder weather game last week, at home, ‘feels like’ 30 degrees and scored 3 pts.
CIN-BUF = 30 degrees at kickoff, ‘feels like’ 23 degrees, 8-10mph winds, 50-75%+ chance of light snow flurries.
CHI-GB = COLD...15 degrees at kickoff, ‘feels like’ 5 degrees...dropping a few more degrees during the game.
The Florida games, IND-JAX and NO-TB...temps fine but 50/50 rain pops during the game.
-- INJURIES of note...
Rome Odunze...likely headed to IR.
DJ Moore and Luther Burden, especially Burden gets a bump...but passing conditions at GB this week = ‘not good’. Loveland-Kmet may be the real winners now and later. All ‘cold’ games for CHI Weeks 14-15-16...at GB-CHI-CHI.
Deshaun Watson...not crazy if he is playing in a game Week 15-16-17 range depending on how bad Shedeur craps out.
Drake London...they play TNF Week 15, so Week 16 may be where we see him again.
-- Most dome games in a row, starting Week 14...
DET = Weeks 14-17
HOU = Weeks 15-18
LAR = Weeks 14-15 and Weeks 17-18
MIN = Weeks 14-15 and Weeks 17-18
ARI = Weeks 14-16
DAL = Weeks 14-15

-- Today’s Agenda...
Game Report day...a focus on game reports for the rest of the week.
FFM News briefs throughout the day.
Week 14 projections update planned approx. 8-10pmET range to allow for the West Coast injury reports.
Anything else that pops up, and any new betting I might see.
-- TNF First Reactions...
Never bet against Detroit after a loss the week prior...the pattern holds once again. So, next week they are at the Rams...probably a loss. With this win, adjusting our season win-loss projections for the entire NFL, the Lions are projected to get into the playoffs as a #7 seed...the Bears out in our latest run. The margin between CHI-GB-DET is so narrow, it almost changes every day on the news/results/injuries, etc.
Dallas really could’ve been in a somewhat driver’s seat to race into the NFC East lead, eventually, had they won this game. We have Dallas winning out and winning the NFC East still, but they have no room for error and that also comes with our projection of Philly falling apart, somewhat, to the finish line (as they have been for weeks...but still capable of turning it any week). Dallas should be favored in every game from here to the end of the season. If the Eagles lose to the Chargers this week...Dallas is in a solid spot for the NFC East. If Philly wins this week, then the Eagles likely put a dagger in Dallas for everything -- the division and even a wild card. You need 11 wins to be an NFC playoff team this year, we project. Dallas can only go 10-6-1 at best now. 11-win Chicago is our last team OUT of the playoff picture.
Amon-Ra St. Brown took on an ankle injury that keeps players out 1-2 weeks and he came back in a week and played and looked fine. He’s just built ‘different’.
I’ve noted a few times how good Ryan Flournoy looks over the past couple of months...and, man, did he pop here. CeeDee Lamb down/out launched Flournoy -- and if Lamb looks like he’ll miss Week 15, Flournoy will be hot for Tuesday waivers...but Lamb will have the extra time to get cleared of concussion, so probably not.
Last night’s RC prop bets...a positive ROI on props, but then down overall...won the Flournoy over by a mile, got the Turpin over...had bet/assumed Tom Kennedy would play a lot with ARSB out, so I lost that whole bet, but placed a bigger bet on ARSB over when I saw him active and saw his pregame workout tape was him looking normal. ARSB hit the over late and shot my props collective positive, but that basically that small gain paid for some of my Dallas +3/+3.5 ATS bet losses. Overall, on everything, a mild loss. Had a parlay that would’ve hit (Dak, Goff, Flournoy, Turpin, Kennedy) but I had the Tom Kennedy angle, and well...
How about Brandon Aubrey? An NFL record three 55+ yard FGs here and 20+ FF points. This is why we drafted him and stuck with him. He’ll be the #2-3 PK in PPG for the season after this week. A shot to finish #1 eventually.
== NEWS ITEMS and TWEETS ==
-- HEADLINE: Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) was limited on Thursday.
I think it is still up in the air whether Hampton plays this week. We likely won’t know for sure until Saturday, because they play on MNF this week.
-- HEADLINE: Cardinals RB Emari Demercado (ankle) was limited on Thursday.
Would likely not affect Bam Knight but may affect Michael Carter.
-- HEADLINE: Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) practiced in full on Thursday.
It’s probably not up to Daniels practicing and throwing velocity...it will be all about whether they want to push JD for no reason. I’m starting to feel like JD will NOT play this week.

Game Reports out today...as many as we can get out today and the rest of the week.
Week 14 projections update after 7pm+ when the inactives are announced.
TNF Preview report.
Anything else that pops up, and any early betting I might see.
Injury Notes...
-- Marv Harrison...really start to trend towards being out this week per my sources.
-- Omarion Hampton not a given this week...could be next week for debut, but this week still in play.
-- Dalton Kincaid looks like he might be cleared in time for the wonderful Cincy matchup!! My sources re starting to chirp he’s gonna get cleared to play. https://x.com/smolads/status/1996292464336896470?s=43
-- Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan are both possible this week, but more likely the following week/s.
-- Drake London is likely still a minimum of a week away.
-- It’s not out of the question/it’s not a settled issue that Washington doesn’t ‘shut down’ Jayden Daniels for the season. Also, possible he starts this week or next...
Not just saying obvious words...I have heard strong cases for both sides from sources. So, I’m at a firm ‘I don’t know’.
-- Trey Benson maybe back Week 15 or 16 or done for the season. https://x.com/theo_mackie/status/1996270100618576132?s=43
-- Justin Herbert almost assuredly playing Week 14.
-- Aaron Jones trending towards playing Week 14.
-- Woody Marks...not a lot of concern. Will play.
-- HEADLINE: Ravens signed Mark Andrews to a three-year, $39.3 million contract extension.
I kinda felt like this was coming the past few weeks...even though I thought I might be joking.
One of the worst roster ‘holds’ of 2025 = Isaiah Likely.
Likely never got close to ‘ahead of’ Andrews this season. And now, for reasons I cannot understand, the Ravens are investing in a guy they’ve tried to trade for two years.
It’s a slap in the face to Isaiah Likely, who I assume will head to free agency this offseason. Only an idiotic team would sign Andrews to this kind of extension and then franchise tag Likely...so, be ready to see it happen.
If Likely heads to free agency, we have to hold our Dynasty-breath he lands in a good spot...and not landing in a junk spot on a 1-year/$10M ‘prove it’ deal, which is likely what will happen.
Who even needs a full starting TE that could be expensive? Cincy? Washington? Carolina? Atlanta?
There really aren’t too many places left that desperately needs a TE...that couldn’t get one in the draft v. spending up in free agency. Hyper-inflation will soon hit the FF TE position...there will be the big 2-3 and then 25-35 other TEs all capable of being in the top 5 among FF TEs in a given season. TE valuations about to be very watered down except for the big/obvious 2-3 (and ‘3’ is the unknown hot TE out of nowhere + McBride and Bowers).
-- HEADLINE: Panthers head coach Dave Canales said Rico Dowdle would remain the team’s primary early-down running back.
I’m sure he will, but also Chuba is gonna get series to himself and a lot of work otherwise. This is a split...a split that might be 60/40 now, but one that Canales wants Chuba to win.
-- HEADLINE: Chiefs placed LT Josh Simmons (wrist) on injured reserve.
Chiefs RT Jawaan Taylor (triceps/knee) did not practice Wednesday. He’s VERY questionable for Week 14.
Fighting for their playoff lives, KC is taking ‘hit’ after hit to their chances. This is brutal.
We’re shifting projections to KC ‘out’ of the playoffs and Jacksonville then making it in as the #7 seed instead.
-- HEADLINE: Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said Omarion Hampton (ankle) is “on track and looking good” for Week 14 against the Eagles.
It’s not official but the words are better this midweek than last. I think he’s probably coming back for this crucial game...but not 100% sure.
Even if LAC wins Week 14 v. PHI...we see them still falling short of the playoffs.
If LAC does win, we would be so close to projecting Dallas to win the AFC East...but that’s if Dallas wins tonight. A loss by the Cowboys vs. Detroit kills their season on so many levels (ditto if DET loses, their season is about done).

-- Today’s Agenda…
Game Report day...as many as we can get out today and the rest of the week.
Week 14 projections update 7-9pmET approx.
Any betting action to start the week.
-- Tuesday night free agency/waivers commentary/notes (national overview)...
Adonai Mitchell won the free agent night, as projected...but not by as much as I thought. Brenton Strange got a lot of heat and was a closer 2nd than I thought anyone would be.
Adonai was the top player/WR. Devaughn Vele ended up 2nd among WRs. Jayden Higgins was 3rd, but more so because he was already on a decent amount of rosters prior...Adonai and Vele were very lowly owned going into this, so they were the most available to have a move made on.
Chris Rodriquez won the night at RB over Blake Corum. Devin Singletary got some heat too from those hoping Tyrone Tracy was down and out (he is not).
Strange was the clear TE winner followed by Darren Waller pretty far behind. Kinda quiet on the Evan Engram front.
The Bucs were the most added DST followed by WSH and MIA.
The kicker most added was Will Lutz followed by Brandon McManus, for reasons I do not understand (on McM). Harrison Mevis started getting some heat too. Where he was available, not as much compared to the other guys just mentioned, K. Fairbairn was the top PK desire...then Evan McPherson.
People bailed on:
QB: Flacco, Darnold
RB: Em Wilson, Pacheco
WR: Mooney, Shaheed, Tez
TE: Taysom, Otton
PK: Borregales, Reichard
-- NBC HEADLINE/NEWS: On Monday, coach Ben Johnson addressed those concerns in the bigger context of the passing game.
"Everybody's got a role to play to get this pass game cleaned up," Johnson said. "We're winning in spite of our passing game, not because of it, and none of us are pleased with that right now."
Shots fired.
Later in the day, Ben had to quickly clarify/make excuses how he was happy with Caleb and that everyone is just trying to get better.
I still say, the second Caleb opens the window (losses, blow the division or playoff game)...Ben is going to chuck him out that window this offseason. You can tell Caleb is not his guy...you could tell it since the preseason. But they keep winning!
-- TRANSACTION: Steelers claimed WR Adam Thielen off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings.
The Steelers are a dying, desperate team and franchise...BUT...is Thielen gonna be the best WR on the team today? Is he the most likely to have a ‘veteran’ connection with Aaron Rodgers? Does he have anything left in the tank? This one is interesting to me...I’m not sure what to FF-do with it.
-- NBC HEADLINE/NEWS: Giants RB Tyrone Tracy told reporters he left New York’s Week 13 game against the Patriots with a hip contusion and a stinger.
In other words, he should be fine coming off New York’s Week 14 bye. Cancel the Devin Singletary As Rest Of Season RB1-sized FAAB bids, though Singletary has claimed enough of the backfield to merit consideration off waivers.
Singletary deserves some FF-respect after last week, but the Giants have been toggling back & forth with a hot hand split on their backfield, so it’s impossible to project what they’ll do Week 15.
However, it may not be that simple with Tracy’s injuries. We wont know for sure on the bye week, but if Tracy is gonna miss a game or more (maybe), then Singletary would have been hotter in free agency...and if Tracy were missing a game and NYG was playing this week, Singletary may have been the hottest free agent of the week, no?

Week 14 Projections day...they will debut/post approx. 5-7pmET
Game Report/s today...as many as we can get out.
News & Notes throughout the day.
MNF Week 13: NYG at NE first reactions...
-- I keep trying to deny the Patriots and the Bears, and I’m the fool at every turn. I’m still shaky on the Bears, but I’m done questioning the Patriots. They win the games they are supposed to win. They physically dominate. Missing two OLs here didn’t matter. All signs of a very good team.
-- Mike Vrabel is the COY barring a collapse. Ben Johnson, Dave Canales, Brian Schottenheimer...and possibly Zac Taylor (if/when they win the division) are the runner’s up.
-- Mike Kafka is not going to win COY. In fact, apologies to Brian Daboll...apparently he was not the worst Giants head coach in the Year of Our Lord 2025.
Talk about clueless... Every week Kafka makes 2-3 of the most mind-blowingly bad decisions on things -- he cost them two wins the prior two weeks, and then they just got whooped here.
Mike Kafka is the definition of what Donald Trump called Jeb Bush back in 2015, which sunk Jeb’s supposed easy path to/win of the Presidency -- he kept calling him ‘low energy Jeb’. The simple label was 100% accurate and stuck so hard and Jeb embodied it and was so rattled by it, that he got laughed out of politics despite being the most well-funded candidate of that ‘run’. Kafka is the Jeb Bush of NFL coaching. I’m sure he is smart and a nice guy, but is definitely ‘low energy’...brings nothing to the table that I see. Another strike against Daboll’s head coaching decisions -- for hiring Kafka, demoting him, and re-moting him during his reign. No wonder the Giants sucked so much recently...it was quite the staff Daboll built/maintained/defended.
-- Drake Maye was great here, considering the OL injuries. I never thought he could be this good. The MVP chants are warranted. He should win it over Matt Stafford, but some chants are deserved.
-- The Tyrone Tracy injury extent is unknown at this point.
-- Do you recall what I wrote about Chuba Hubbard-Rico Dowdle and Marvin Harrison-Mike Wilson yesterday? Look at the touch counts and snaps for Rhamondre Stevenson-TreVeyon Henderson here. Rhamondre is a ‘made man’ and TreVeyon is not, for Vrabel.
