-- Justin Jefferson is OUT for Week 11. I think Week 12 might be ‘the week’ he’s back. A boost for Hockenson/Addison/Osborn? It’s expected to rain a little before kickoff and be present on-off during the game. Never good for passing games this season.

-- De’Von Achane is active for Week 11. What will his workload be? Probably not as heavy as whatever it will be normally. Normal is likely 10-15 touches. Week 11 might be 7-10 touches depending on the game flow. If Miami jumps on Las Vegas, there’s no reason to overwork Achane with a HUGE game next week (where Miami might effectively put away the AFC East on a special Black Friday edition game versus the Jets).

But, what Achane can do in 7-10 touches is as good as most all RBs who take 14-18 touches in a game. It’s up to your situation after TNF, how the byes are affecting you, and what your alternatives are, as to whether you ‘go for it’ or not, etc.

-- Three hot pickups off the waivers week are getting colder by the second, one a block of ice...cold.

Ty Chandler = Alexander Mattison is expected to play Sunday night, rendering this a likely ‘split’ role between the two RBs this week and going forward...with the touch count advantage to Mattison. Not crazy to hold and see what happens, but not as strong an urge to start him now...especially on a slippery track in Denver. More likely a game for a mudder like Mattison.

Rico Dowdle = Late week injury, questionable for Week 11. A game against Carolina...why push him? Next week a bigger game vs. Washington. He could get good garbage time here if he is really fine.

Jalen Guyton is OUT for Week 11 with a groin injury, and Keenan Allen is totally clear/fine.

-- Pat Freiermuth is activated for the Steelers, and it means FF-nothing to me.

-- Noah Brown out...Nico Collins in. The feel-good Brown story takes a big-time hit and will take another hit if Nico goes off today.

-- Desmond Ridder re-named starter for the rest of the season, as I suspected a few days ago. Heinicke looked terrible in his stint...no worse than Ridder, but at least Ridder can run.

A boost for Jonnu Smith and Bijan Robinson...his best/favorite targets.

-- The two weather concern games...

1) The rain we mentioned with MIN at DEN

2) Rain all day leading up to Philly at KC, the tapers off during the game (at this stage of the forecast). It’s been a pretty similar weather forecast for this game all week...getting slightly better/less odds of rain during the 2nd-half now. May improve a bit more tomorrow, but likely going to wet to some degree for that game, which is a shame for the huge event that will be.

-- Bears RB flow today? Who knows. D’Onta Foreman likely to start and then hot hand split with Khalil Herbert, is my guess.

-- If Tyler Lockett is out, I would expect Jake Bobo to start in his place and possibly be a WR3/flex option.
