Things I’m thinking and Betting this game.
Everybody is with the Patriots blowing out NYJ tonight, right? It’s so obvious that it’s making me nervous. Of the Jets 7 losses, five have been by one score games. The Jets are (2-4) on the road but really should be (4-2) on the road. The Jets aren’t great, but they are scrappy...13 points is A LOT to give them. I’m not betting it, but I am ‘picking’ the Jets +13.5.
You can run on the Jets but teams don’t throw for as much against them...because they can run on them. It should be a nice game for TreVeyon.
The Jets offense can only do anything IF Justin Fields poses a running threat to put a wrinkle in the flow and open up the meager passing game. If I were Aaron Glenn, I’d run Fields minimum 15x tonight...but the Jets coaches are not too swift, so...
I can probably tell you the outcome of this game, if you told me (from the future) what Fields' run attempt totals were. I just don't trust Fields or Glenn to 'go for it'.
Player Props?
I like the Mack Hollins and Kyle Williams props for fun. I’m using Hollins in several FF games this week, so I’m betting him UNDER for whole $1 to try to jinx him to a big game again. But for props nothing jumps out as great at me.
Everyone is so ‘down’ on Justin Fields, for good reason, it may not be a bad thing to take his rushing prop over -- this being a solo night/national game and all...I bet he runs a ton tonight.
I’ll be trying to watch it in my Jacksonville hotel if I can get Amazon on my room TV with my FireStick.
