A look at the MNF game Week 8...
Everything points to a KC ‘smash’ win here...so much so that it will obviously be a Commanders upset, I’m sure. I have no interest in betting this ATS.
Washington has been falling apart lately...now a bottom 10 run and pass defense combined with losing their ace QB for this game. While KC has a top 5 pass defense and middle of the pack run defense and their ace QB is really heating up/having a bit of a bounce back season in 2025.
Everything, on paper, favors KC...so be very wary of Washington here.
KC should roll the Commanders mostly through the air I suspect...as KC is getting hot passing and not-so-hot running. This game is tailor-made for KC to throw-throw-throw all game. To counter that, Washington should try to run-run-run...with as many runners as possible. Mariota should run the ball a bunch...Deebo should run the ball a bunch...JCM should run it 15+ times.
Whether they will or not, we’ll see. If KC jumps all over Washington and gets them down big/fast -- then the run game will be thrown out the window.
I only have on serious bet in this...my bet of the week...Brashard Smith OVER 13.5 yards at -111, a bet I placed midweek that is now up to 17.5 for the line. If I can hit that bet, I’ll draw pretty much even for the week on prop bets. But my prop bet luck this season means...Brashard will fall 1-3 yards short and will drop the winning catch at some point in the game or better yet he’ll make the big catch/play and it will be called back for lined up wrong or something else stupid.
Brashard receiving yards is my biggest bet of the week, but I am going to parlay (for fun) a long shot combo of Mariota-Deebo-JCM rush attempts and/or rushing total overs along with the Brashard elevated receiving line.
